Our philosophy
At Little House Pilates, we believe in strengthening body and mind through mindful movement. Whether you want to increase flexibility, build strength, or find balance in your everyday life, our studio is here to guide you.
Little House Reformer Pilates offers a thoughtfully curated range of classes designed to meet you where you are in your movement journey.
From energizing Dynamic Reformer sessions to innovative Contemporary Pilates, and finally our specialized Classical Pilates classes—each format is crafted to deliver strength, alignment, and balance.
Our Classical Reformer sessions follow an anatomically based approach inspired by the original method of Joseph Pilates, reimagined through the lens of modern movement science and rehabilitation principles. Developed by former professional dancer Moira Merrithew, this method blends precision, flow, and core control with contemporary understanding of body mechanics.

Our types of classes
Classical
A STOTT PILATES Classical class is a type of Pilates workout that draws from the original method developed by Joseph Pilates. It focuses on precise form, core control, and flow and is excellent for building strong foundations and posture awareness.
Contemporary
Modern twist on classical Pilates, blending original principles with current science and rehab techniques. Includes the use of props, different tempos, and customised sequences. Often used in rehab, athletic training, or to suit individual needs.
Dynamic
Dynamic Pilates is a high-energy, fitness-focused style of Pilates that combines traditional core principles with strength training, cardio bursts, and faster-paced, full-body movements. It’s designed to build strength, endurance, and flexibility while delivering a more intense, modern workout experience.
LH Basic Classical
An introductory classical Stott Pilates class follows a structured approach to core strengthening, flexibility, and overall body awareness. It’s rooted in Pilates principles, but Stott Pilates incorporates modern principles of exercise science, rehabilitation, and alignment, making it suitable for all levels.
LH Intermediate
An intermediate classical Stott Pilates class builds on the foundation established in an introductory class, adding more complexity and intensity to the exercises. At this level, you’re expected to have a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of Pilates, including core activation, breath control, and proper alignment.
LH Advanced
An advanced classical Stott Pilates class takes the principles and exercises of the earlier levels and pushes them to a more intense and complex level. This class is designed for individuals with high strength, flexibility, body awareness, and control. It demands greater endurance, coordination, and focus, with more challenging exercises and dynamic movements.
LH Intermediate Power
A Power Reformer Pilates class is an intense, high-energy version of traditional Pilates that uses the Reformer machine to add resistance and challenge your strength, endurance, and overall fitness. The class is designed to help you build muscle tone, increase flexibility, and improve cardiovascular fitness through dynamic, full-body movements. It’s a more vigorous and fast-paced workout than standard Reformer Pilates classes.
LH Form & Flow
A Form and Flow Pilates class is designed to combine the precision and alignment-focused principles of traditional Pilates with a more fluid, continuous movement style. The aim is to achieve a harmonious balance between controlled form and seamless flow so you get an effective and graceful workout.
LH Dynamic
A Dynamic Pilates class is a more energetic, faster-paced variation of traditional Pilates. It combines the core-strengthening and flexibility-focused principles of Pilates with more fluid, dynamic movements. This class type is designed to challenge your strength, endurance, and coordination while keeping your body moving continuously, raising the intensity level compared to standard Pilates.
LH Strength & Core
A Strength and Core Reformer Pilates class focuses on building muscle strength, particularly in the core, while using the Reformer machine to add resistance and support. The Reformer provides a unique and effective way to challenge the body through controlled, resistance-based movements. It’s designed to improve muscular endurance, increase stability, and enhance overall strength.
Such a lovely spot for Pilates! The setting at the Tennis Centre is so peaceful, and the classes strike the perfect balance between challenging and relaxing.
