Meet Amy

Amy is an APPI-certified Pilates instructor, qualified in both Mat and Reformer Pilates, with a passion for helping people build strength, improve mobility, and move with confidence. Her teaching style combines contemporary Pilates principles with a strong focus on technique, alignment, and functional movement, creating classes that are both challenging and accessible.

A qualified physiotherapist with three years of experience, Amy was inspired to pursue Pilates to help people achieve better health and fitness beyond the clinical setting. While her work in the NHS focuses on supporting those with more complex health conditions,

Pilates allows her to combine her physiotherapy expertise with movement-based rehabilitation, helping clients improve strength, function, and confidence in their bodies. She has a particular interest in neurological physiotherapy, supporting individuals recovering from strokes, and enjoys helping people regain movement through targeted rehabilitation.

Amy holds a degree in Physiotherapy, a Level 3 Personal Training qualification, and is APPI-trained in Reformer Pilates. Having previously competed in gymnastics, she has always been fascinated by movement, how the body works, and the recovery process. Her teaching style is highly movement-focused, with an emphasis on achieving optimal alignment and positioning to activate specific muscles, ensuring every client moves with purpose, precision, and confidence.
